Flat Roof Oakville

About this project

This Oakville flat roof had reached the end of its life, with blistering, ponding water, and failed flashings putting the interior at risk. We replaced it with a high-performance 2-ply SBS modified bitumen system built for Canadian freeze-thaw cycles. The project began with a complete tear-off of the old membrane and a thorough inspection of the roof deck. After addressing the substrate, we installed a self-adhered base sheet followed by a torch-applied granular cap sheet, with new metal edge trim and upgraded flashings at all walls and penetrations to ensure a fully sealed perimeter. The homeowner now has a completely watertight roof with a 25–30 year expected membrane life and full warranty documentation.
