Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Buildoreno website (buildoreno.ca) or engaging our construction services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of Buildoreno. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Services Description
Buildoreno is a licensed and insured construction company operating in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We provide the following services:
- Metal roofing installation, replacement, and repairs
- Flat roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen
- Landscaping design and construction including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces
- Underpinning and basement lowering for foundation reinforcement and added living space
- General contracting for renovations, additions, and full-home remodeling projects
The scope of any specific project will be defined in a written agreement between Buildoreno and the client prior to commencement of work.
Estimates and Quotes
Buildoreno offers free, no-obligation estimates for all of our services. Please note the following regarding our estimates:
- All estimates provided are non-binding and subject to change based on actual site conditions, material availability, and project scope
- Final pricing will be outlined in a written contract before any work begins
- Prices may be adjusted if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project, such as structural issues, hidden damage, or required code upgrades
- Any pricing changes will be communicated and approved by the client in writing before additional work is performed
Payment Terms
Buildoreno uses a milestone-based payment structure to ensure transparency and fairness for our clients:
- $0 deposit required to begin — no upfront payment needed
- 30% due at materials delivery to the project site
- 40% due at the project midpoint, as defined in the written agreement
- 30% due upon final walkthrough and client approval of completed work
We accept the following payment methods:
- Interac e-Transfer
- Cheque
- Credit card
- Cash
Payment terms may vary for larger or custom projects and will be clearly outlined in the project contract. Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of work until outstanding balances are resolved.
Project Terms
The following terms apply to all construction projects undertaken by Buildoreno:
- A written agreement must be signed by both parties before any work begins
- Any changes to the original project scope require a written change order signed by the client, which may include adjusted pricing and timelines
- Project timelines provided are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, permit processing times, material supply chain delays, or unforeseen site conditions
- The client is responsible for providing reasonable access to the work site during the project
- The client must obtain any required municipal permits unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract
Buildoreno will make every reasonable effort to complete projects within the estimated timeline and will communicate any anticipated delays promptly.
Warranties
Buildoreno stands behind the quality of our work and offers the following warranty coverage:
- 5 to 10 year workmanship warranty on all completed projects, depending on the scope and type of work performed
- Manufacturer warranties on all materials and products used, as provided by the respective manufacturers
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with a description of the issue and supporting photos where applicable
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of proper maintenance
- Damage resulting from natural disasters, extreme weather events, or acts of God
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by third parties
- Normal wear and tear consistent with the expected lifespan of the materials used
Liability Limitations
Buildoreno is a fully insured and certified contractor:
- We carry $5 million in commercial general liability insurance to protect our clients and their property
- We are WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) certified, ensuring all workers on your project are covered
- Proof of insurance and WSIB clearance certificates are available upon request
Notwithstanding the above, the following limitations apply:
- Buildoreno is not liable for any pre-existing conditions, defects, or damage present at the property prior to the start of work
- Our total liability for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the total contract value of that project
- Buildoreno is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services
- We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Intellectual Property
All content on the Buildoreno website is the property of Buildoreno and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws:
- All text, images, graphics, logos, and branding on this website are the property of Buildoreno unless otherwise noted
- Project photos and descriptions remain the property of Buildoreno and may be used for marketing and portfolio purposes
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our website content without prior written permission
- Links to our website are permitted, provided they do not imply endorsement or misrepresent the relationship with Buildoreno
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from our services or these terms, the following process applies:
- Both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation and direct communication
- If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, both parties may agree to engage a neutral third-party mediator
- These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein
- The courts of the Province of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings arising from these terms or our services
